The game between closely ranked teams ended with first ranked MontenegrinBuducnost 's (6-2) road victory over second-ranked Serbian Mega BG (2-5) 98-65 on Sunday. Buducnost outrebounded Mega BG 48-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. Buducnost looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian point guard Oleksandr Kovliar (191-2002) who scored 14 points and 5 assists. Serbian power forward Nikola Tanaskovic (204-1997) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Five Buducnost players scored in double figures. American-Bulgarian point guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (191-1994, college: Wake Forest) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and swingman Asim Djulovic (204-2005) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending Montenegrin champion maintains first position with 6-2 record which they share with defeated Mega BG . Loser Mega BG still keeps top place with five games lost. They share the position with 5 other teams.
